The city of Alesund is known for its art nouveau architecture, beautiful fjords and stunning peaks of the Sunnmøre Alps. The most popular local attractions are the Geirangerfjord, Runde bird island, Atlanterhavsparken – Alesund aquarium, and guided walks through the picturesque city centre.

Brudes bar is where you can get refreshments and have a chat with our friendly bartenders. The bar is beautifully set in an art noveau dining room. If you are hungry we can recommend restaurant Egon in our basement. Too tired to go out? Don’t worry, we’ll have your dinner delivered to your room. For those who are interested in sightseeing we can recommend a trip to the Aksla mountain, or the Atlanterhavsparken (Alesund aquarium). If you want to see more of Alesund and learn about our interesting history, we suggest you go on a guided walk. If you are interested in birds a trip to the bird sanctuary island Runde is a must.

Three minutes in one direction will take you to the Aksla mountain, and in the opposite direction to the harbour. Shopping, restaurants and bars awaits close to the hotel. We can suggest many interesting and fun activities in Alesund, as well as historic sights. One of them is our building, from the early 20th century. We hope you will like it as much as we do.
